As a motivated and results-oriented Sales Agent with the Tim Smith Real Estate Group, Sophia Sun combines financial expertise and investment insight to deliver a strategic, well-informed approach to real estate. With years of hands-on experience managing her family’s real estate portfolio—including long- and short-term rentals, remodeling projects, and custom home construction—she offers clients a unique perspective on property ownership, value creation, and market trends.

A graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Finance, Sophia began her career in financial analysis before moving into business consulting, where she advised financial firms on strategic planning and profitability. Her work in consulting and recruiting sharpened her ability to assess client needs, negotiate effectively, and build strong relationships—skills that now directly enhance her success in real estate.

Specializing in the Newport Beach market, Sophia leverages her financial expertise, market insight, and client-focused approach to help buyers, sellers, and investors achieve their goals with confidence.

Beyond real estate, Sophia is a dedicated member of the Newport Beach community. She has been an active volunteer at her children’s schools, serving in roles ranging from PTA board member to science fair chair. Most recently, she and her eldest son joined the Newport Beach Chapter of the National League of Young Men. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, taking beach walks, and exploring new culinary experiences throughout Orange County.
